In this video, we show you how you can use Google Colab and the Beautiful soup library to create a web application that helps you download and save the content of a web page. This solution uses Beautiful soup to download and save the text of a website to further analyze it, e. G, to simplify to qualify terms and conditions or to gain important insights by using the functionality of the Beautiful soup library. You will also learn how to save and view the content of the website. By using these technologies, you can save time and money by avoiding the manual process of copying and pasting website content. You can also ensure that the web page content is saved correctly and completely by using Beautiful soup’s functions to parse the the HTML code of the web page and extract the content. In the first part of the code, the function Fetch and Save Page is defined. This function uses the Requests Library to download the web page and the beautiful soup library to parse the HTML code. The text of the web page is then saved in the variable content and written to a text file. In the next part of the source code, the function RBA print is defined, which displays the text in the console and sets the width of the text. This function is used to display the content of the text file in the console. In the last part of the source code, the function Fetch and save page is called to download the terms and conditions from google and save them in the text file my.txt. The content of the text file is then displayed in the console using the RBA print function. For illustration purposes, we use API keys in this video, but they are not real.
